When it was announced that Warner Bros. was adapting J.K. Rowling’s 42-page “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” book into a trilogy, there was a lot of eye-rolling and Hobbit-referencing going on. How exactly would a mock-up of Harry Potter‘s magical creatures textbook stretch into six+ hours of movies?
But don’t worry: Rowling is hard at work making sure it will. According to recent tweets, the movies will focus on the adventures of “Fantastic Beasts” author Newt Scamander as he travels through the wizardly world 70 years before the days of ickle baby Harry and He Who Must Not Be Named.
