My Wrestlemania XXX Predictions

Tomorrow marks the 30th year for Wrestlemania. Here are my predictions for how everything will go down.

Usos vs. Real Americans vs. Rybaxel vs. Los Matadores- I don’t see any way that the Usos lose this one. Besides the Real Americans, the other teams don’t haven enough build or momentum to get the win. I see Cesaro having some huge moments in this match and in end when it looks like he will pick up the win for his team, Swagger will screw him somehow and the Usos will capitalize for the win.

Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan– This feud has been going for 8 months now and I have a feeling tomorrow won’t be the end of it. I see the match ending with Triple H in the Yes lock, then with Stephanie on the outside, she pulls the ref out of the ring and attacks him. Daniel Bryan breaks the hold and goes outside the ring to confront her. While he does that, Triple H slithers out of the ring and pulls the sledgehammer out and when Daniel Bryan gets back in the ring, Triple H nails him with the sledgehammer. A new ref runs to the ring, as Triple H picks up a limp Bryan and nails him with a Pedigree and pins him for the win. While the crowd completely loses their shit and chants No loudly, Triple H and Stephanie pose over Bryan’s body. Then Hulk Hogan’s music hits and he makes his way to the stage. He says, “It’s not going down like that brother, as Wrestlemania host I’m making the main event a fatal four way for the title.” Triple H and Steph get pissed in the ring and start flipping their shit, saying that he can’t do that. Vince McMahon’s music hits and he comes out and says, “Yes, he can because I told him he could.” Triple H gets more angry and picks up Bryan and hits him with another Pedigree, before leaving the ring with Steph arguing all the way up the ramp. The crowd chanting Yes the whole time.

Backstage it shows Batista wreaking his dressing room, because he is angry with what he just heard.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal- They’re promoting this as a big deal match, but the truth is this is  just the yearly make everyone in the locker room that doesn’t have a real match happy match. The winner gets a trophy which is cool, but ultimately worthless in the grand scheme of things. The winner will probably get a decent push afterwards and will use the win as a talking point for a year, which will get annoying after the first 30 times they mention it in a promo. At my count there are currently 27 wrestlers announced for the match, meaning there are 3 surprise entrants. The hot rumors are the surprise entrants will be RVD, Alexander Rusev, and probably a legend, my guess Ric Flair. They have been pushing The Big Show as the odds on favorite, which of course means he probably won’t win. My prediction is Sheamus, Big Show, RVD, and Rusev will be the final four and Rusev gets the win.

The Shield vs. Kane and the New Age Outlaws– Although a Shield break-up has been built up for months, the E switched focus and decided to keep them together longer and turn them face. Although I love the Shield as a team, I think they have run their course and I would have much rather have seen a triple threat match between the 3 of them instead of this match. Alas The Outlaws are Triple H’s buds and they needed a Mania match, so we have this match with Kane thrown in for good measure. I see The Outlaws and Kane getting the win, after Reigns has the match wrapped up after nailing Kane with a spear, Ambrose tags himself in and argues with Reigns. Ambrose then turns around and Kane hits him with a choke slam for the win, while Reigns walks away and Rollins trys to figure out what happened.

Vickie Guerrero Divas Title Invitational- Instead of having a normal Diva’s one on one title match or triple threat that nobody would care about and use as their bathroom break or beer run time, we have a giant clusterfuck Diva’s title match that nobody will care about. Since AJ doesn’t have a solid real feud going, besides maybe against the collective of the Total Divas, the E decided the best way for her to drop the title and end her long run is by having her take on everyone. Until Paige debuts, I don’t really care much about the Diva’s division, so I’ll say that one of the Bellas will win the title, maybe Brie, I guess. Hopefully this match doesn’t last long.

John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt- Hate on Cena all you want (and I normally do), but I respect him for taking a back seat this year and taking on a new comer. This storyline has been the most interesting Cena storyline in awhile. It’s the first time I can remember him actually saying he was scared of an opponent, rather than just brushing him off and making fun of him in promos. Bray is the most interesting heel the E has had in awhile and I see Cena doing the right thing and putting him over. My call is is that Rowan and Harper interfere one too many times in the match and get thrown out. After Cena hits the AA a few times and Bray kicks out, Cena goes out of character and gets frustrated and throws Bray out of the ring and beats him like crazy all over the outside of the ring. Cena then rolls Wyatt back in the ring and tries to pin him again, Wyatt kicks out and laughs at him. Cena goes to get a chair the ref pulls it out of his hand and Wyatt hits Sister Abigail for the win. Rowan and Harper come back out and attack Cena and put the sheep mask on him, while Wyatt sits in his chair just smiling.

The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar-  We are supposed to believe that this is the year the streak will be over. That Undertaker has had so many close calls over the last few years, that this will be the year that he doesn’t make it out. Obviously that is not going to happen this year, there is no way they would use something as monumental as breaking the streak on a part time wrestler that wouldn’t benefit at all from the win. The Undertaker will take a huge beatdown in this match and will get  many close 2 counts, but he will come out in the end victorious. The real interesting thing will be the next day on Raw, I’m hoping for a Sting appearance where he will challenge Taker for the streak at next years Mania. As for Brock, him and Heyman will brag that they left Taker beaten and while he won, he will never be the same again. Brock, then won’t appear again until near Summerslam.

Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton vs. Batista- As I mentioned in the beginning, I believe this will become a fatal four way match. This way after Bryan wins, which really can be the only outcome (unless they want a full scale riot), Triple H can say the next day on Raw that he beat Bryan and there was no way he should have been in the match in the first place, which will lead to a one on one match for the title at Extreme Rules. Anyways, as for the match itself, I think it will be a good match with Bryan taking a huge beating most the match. In the end, after they all hit their finishers on Bryan, Triple H will go for the pin. Batista will break the pin and Triple H will get in his face. Randy Orton will turn Triple H around and hit the RKO, Batista will then hit Orton with his terrible version of the spear, then Bryan comes in and nails Batista with the running knee, getting the pin and winning the match. Triple H will be in complete disbelief and go to attack Bryan, then the entire locker room comes down and runs Triple H, Orton, and Batista out of the ring and celebrates with Bryan in the ring while the crowd goes nuts.
